Dear Sister
Happy Sunday! I hope your day is filled with joy and purpose.🙌🏾
We’re still exploring God’s heart in this exciting series.
Today, we’re diving into God’s immutability.
The purpose of this 17-part mini-series is

If you haven't had a chance yet, check out part 1 to better understand how to make the most of this series.
Part 1: The Uncreated Designer: The Self-Existence of God
Part 2: Endlessly Untamed: The Infinity of God
Part 3: Surpassing All Horizons: The Transcendence of God
Part 4: Complete & Whole: The Self-Sufficiency of God
Part 5: Unmatched Supremacy: The Sovereignty of God
Parts 6 & 7: The Wisdom & Veracity of God
What is the Immutability of God?
The immutability of God refers to His unchanging nature and character.
Unlike our ever-changing culture and trends, our God remains steadfast and consistent throughout the ages.
Unlike our fluctuating emotions and circumstances, God’s character, purposes, and promises stand rock-solid.
I adore this quality of God because, despite life's ups and downs and my own shortcomings, His faithfulness remains steadfast through it all.
Bible Verses to Reflect on
Malachi 3:6: "I the Lord do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed."
Hebrews 13:8: "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."
Psalm 102:25-27: "In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded. But you remain the same, and your years will never end."
Affirmations to Strengthen
I serve an immutable God, whose nature remains timeless and consistent everyday.
My God is committed, and steadfast in fulfilling all the plans and promises He has for my life.
God’s love for me never changes.
God’s plans for me are secure.
Even if I stubble, God’s love and mercy towards me never falter.
I place my identity, not in myself, or the things of the world, but in the unchanging power of God.
Faith in Action
A. Meditate on those Bible verses above. How do these verses impact your view and understanding of God?
B. How does it make you feel knowing that you serve an unchanging God?
Closing Prayer
Eternal Father
We thank You for Your unchanging nature. For being the same God yesterday, today, and forever.
We’re glad that You don’t change like the shifting wind or like culture does.
You honor Your character.
Thank You for being consistent, and committed in fulfilling your promises, including those plans You have for our lives.
Lord, help us to trust in your solid-rock nature and to find security in your promises.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
Join me again in a couple of days to study the three omni’s of God, ie., His omniscience, omnipotence, and omnipresence.
